Obituary of Dionisia Dinah Godwin

Dionisia “Dinah” Godwin passed away peacefully at home on November 9, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Joe T. Godwin, and her children; Sonia (Felipe) Ramirez, Dionisia “Michelle” Wright, Darrick Alvin (LaTonya) Bielarski, Darlene Renee Ham, and bonus children; Kenneth Thomas Godwin, Georgianna Frances (Frank) Pomelow, and fur babies; Max & Dixie, and 21 beautiful grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren, 4 sisters and 2 brothers. She is preceded in death by her parents Manuel & Eleanor, and 4 sisters and 1 brother, her son Joey Villareal Jr, and grandson Justin D. Noble. She was born and raised in southern California and relocated to Pensacola, Florida in 1971. She enjoys antiquing and the occasional casino trips with her husband Joe. Her quick witted sense of humor always made those around her laugh and smile. She also enjoyed traveling to places like California, Wisconsin, and Jacksonville to spend time with family and loved ones. Most of her time was spent spreading love and making wonderful memories with her family. She was full of life and will be loved and missed by her family and friends. She is our rock and our #1 Hero.
