Obituary of ann maccrone lawrence

Ann Olivie MacCrone Lawrence, born Jan 19, 1930, passed away on Jan 15, 2023, at 92. Ann was born in Bay Shore, Long Island, NY and grew up in NY and Pensacola, FL. She graduated from Pensacola HS in 1948 and earned a bachelor’s degree in Home Economics from Florida State University in 1951. Ann was a homemaker and military wife to her beloved husband of 55 years, George Maitland Lawrence, Jr, Lt. Col USMC (Ret.). George preceded her in passing in 2006. They spent 44 years in Milton, FL and traveling the world until she moved to Pensacola, FL in 2021. She was a member of the SMARTRVers, Clan Maitland Society of North America and the Central Santa Rosa Republican Club. Ann was recognized for serving her precinct longer than any of her predecessors. She was a charter member of Warrington Presbyterian Church and in later years a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Milton, FL. She is survived by her 3 children, Buck (Palm Coast, FL), John (Atlanta, GA) and Annette (Pensacola, FL), 4 grandchildren, Kathryn, Joseph, Sara and Clara, and 4 great grandchildren, Kaden, Odis, Penelope and Amelia. Pastor Bob Hornick will conduct a Memorial Service on Saturday, January 21, 2023 with visitation at 5:00 PM and service at 6:00 PM at Family Funeral & Cremation on Davis Highway, 5627 N. Davis Hwy, Pensacola, FL. The family asks that any memorials be directed to Waterfront Mission.
