Obituary of sarah Rebecca Hinote
In Loving Memory Of
Sarah R. Hinote
May 2nd, 1978 – February 8th, 2023
Sarah Rebecca Hinote, 44, of Pensacola, Florida, departed this earthly life much too soon on February 8th, 2023.
Sarah was born on May 2nd, 1978 to Roger and Susan Hinote in Fort Walton Beach, Florida.
Sarah was a beautiful soul who was kind, thoughtful, funny, generous, and fearless like her father. Growing up, she loved playing on the basketball team at Woodham High School and learning how to play the guitar. After graduating from high school, she moved to Portland, Oregon, to form a band with her best friend Lauren. Sarah played base for the all-girl band Stella Marie. They were very popular and went on tour at times, even playing at The House of Blues in New Orleans. While in Oregon, she enjoyed the outdoor lifestyle there and would go camping, hiking, and snowboarding on Fort Hood. After exploring other parts of the country for about ten years, she returned home to Pensacola to be with family and consider what to do next in life. In 2019, she enrolled at George Stone Technical College to pursue a career in aviation mechanics. On June 2, 2021, she became certified as an aviation powerplant mechanic. Shortly after, Sarah started her position at ST Engineering in Pensacola, Florida. She loved working at ST Engineering and had formed many great relationships with her coworkers. We are so proud of her and her accomplishments.
Sarah is survived by her mother, Susan Hinote, brother, Brian Hinote, grandmother, Dorothy Semaine, and many wonderful aunts, cousins, and an uncle. She is preceded in death by her father, Roger Hinote.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Sarah’s honor to the World Wildlife Fund. Sarah’s love for animals, especially wild animals and their wellbeing was very dear to her heart. https://www.worldwildlife.org/
