So sorry for your loss of Delores, I have memories of social visits to the Louie Bergman family, so much fun as children because of creeping around with no electricity or low lit lamps while adults visited or played cards, Delores was soft spoken and kind! What a shock to open the obituaries a few days ago after hearing that it was Al who had passed away only to find the pleasant, happy face of Delores smiling back at me! (Great photo, BTW...so "her!") Despite the age difference...she's half a dozen years older than me...I never once expected that she would leave this earthly life before me. I had always expected she would lay me to rest, not the other way around. Through the ups and downs of nearly 45 yrs. of relationship...I believe we met on her 40th birthday...she has remained very dear to my heart. I appreciated her practical, common sense approach to life and valued her no nonsense analysis of the events of the world as seen through her eyes. She was ever in my heart...and always in my prayers, during our many absences from one another over the years. And, I will continue to pray for the repose of her soul. Eternal Rest Grant unto her, O Lord, and Let Your Perpetual Light shine upon her. Sarah and Becky, you and your Dad, continue to be in our prayers...we pray now that the comfort and consolation of your Mom's Lord will be near and He will hold you close in the days ahead as you mark a new path of life without her...as we all must do.
