So sorry to hear of your loss, we have so many fond memories of Harry and his Family. First, he was my Godfather and with that the visits to my moms in Canora or gatherings at the many Dutchak family weddings over the years Harry was always so engaging, so approachable and always with a story or his unmatched smile. We will truly miss him and may our Heavenly Father take his sole and be at peace for eternity. Jean, Warren, Al, Marlene and Howie Zarazun.

I am so sorry to hear of Harry's passing. This was a great man who I had the good fortune to have had as a teacher many years ago in Calder. He was the most upbeat and motivating teacher ever. I always had the greatest respect for him and as I went through life I realized more and more the impact he had on so many lives. God bless him and his family. Sincerely, Nelson Gabert San Clemente, Calif

Ray and I had the pleasure of visiting with Harry and Evelyn in our home in Stonewall and also their home in Yorkton. Harry was sure he could teach Ray the Ukrainian language in one afternoon. It was a pleasure to spend some time with them. The recent Haydaman/Hydeman family reunion gave us all the opportunity to rekindle family ties. For Ray a reconnection and recounting of childhood memories.

To the entire Kardynal family, whom I've known my entire life... my deepest most sincere condolences on your loss. This is a loss for us all, as Harry had such a profound influence on so very many people over his lifetime. He was a close friend who felt more like family because of his presence at pivotal moments throughout our lives (certainly mine). I spoke with him just a few weeks ago, as we'd often see each other at the grocery store on Friday evening. I'd be going back home to Calder from Regina, and he'd be grabbing some important ingredient for his and Evelyn's evening's supper. I will miss those enjoyable conversations and I will miss him. Thank you, Harry, for being you.

My sincere condolences to the Kardynal family. Harry's name came up often at family gatherings as my late wife Eunice and her brother Rex Goulden were students of his at the Eden country school. They had many fond memories of Harry as their teacher. The last time I saw him was at Rex's memorial service in June where we spoke briefly. You have many wonderful memories for comfort in the following days.

My condolences to the Kardynal family. Mr. Kardynal was a larger than life personality but still maintained the most genuine, caring and happy aura whenever I had the good luck to bump into him. He was decades ahead in his approach to education, expanding well past the basics and using any opportunity to teach something new. I think a great testament to the man is the deep respect he gained from some of the more unruly kids ( or families) he helped guide. A great man! Stuart Murray

My sympathy to the whole Kardynal Family. I have very, very fond memories of Mr. Kardynal as a teacher because his energy and humour. I'll always remember the formula for calculating interest because he would say 'prt' in a loud rolling sound instead of just saying 'principle rate multiplied by the time'. Also remember the class having to move the desks out of the way so that we could dance the schottische to get some exercise. There are many more fond memories of sleep-overs at the farm. Thinking of you all, Barb Neal
