Obituary of Sherika Larhonda Re'shaydra hardaway
Sherika Larhonda Re'Shaydra Hardaway, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 surrounded by her loved ones in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. She was a loving mother, sister, aunt, and friend who resided in Fort Walton Beach, FL. She will now leave her earthly life to join the Lord in Heaven. Sherika was born on July 13, 1987 in Pensacola, FL to Melonie Disaha Denise Simmons and Jefferson Lafeath Hardaway. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, John Hardaway; grandmother, Susie Hardaway; aunts, Pamela Hardaway and Cheyenne Velez. She attended the Okaloosa County School District and graduated from Choctawhatchee High School. Sherika had an amazing love for the arts and was an exceptional singer and dancer. She competed in talent shows at school and local establishments during her early life. In spite of her love for singing and dancing none will ever surpass the dedication, commitment, and love that she showed her children. In her free time, Sherika loved hanging out at the beach and being with her sisters. She will truly be loved and missed by her family and friends.
Sherika leaves to cherish her precious memory three children all of Fort Walton Beach, FL, son, Derick Amin Carter; daughters, Alana Tynese Nelson, Ariah Nicole Brooks; mother, Melonie Disaha Dennis Simmons; father, Jefferson Lafeath Hardaway; stepfather, Amin S. Simmons; sisters, Lasherea S. Hardaway and Sha'Kiyra Q. Finley; grandmother, Metta J. Hannon; grandfather, Raymond E. Davenport; uncles, Tommy McKee, Lorance White, Willie White, Alvin Mullins, and Andre Hardaway; aunts, Pyrrha Feagin, Johnnie Mae Brice, Sonya Hardaway, Yalonda Hardaway, and Samantha Hardaway; nephews, Quintin Scaife Jr., Kameron Jones, and Kyndric Wilson Jr.; nieces, Kimora Reynolds, Tatyana Jones, and Keyana Jones; cousins, Craig Rudolph, Cordell Rudolph, RyShondra Foreman, Joseph Richardson; god sister, Chandra Lewis-Johnson and a host of other relatives and friends. Friends are invited to attend CST Services, October 14, 2022 at New Hope Christian Center, 311 Lovejoy Road NW, Fort Walton Beach, FL 32548. Friends and Family received for Visitation at 12 PM, Service at 1 PM, Pastor Stephanie Duenas Officiating. Burial will follow at Beal Memorial Cemetery, 316 Beal Pkwy NW, Fort Walton Beach, FL 32548.
