Obituary of Nicholas (Nick) Raymond Sayers

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mr. Nicholas (Nick) Sayers at the Battlefords Union Hospital on Thursday, September 25, 2022. Nick was born in Bresaylor, Saskatchewan on July 8, 1944. At a young age Nick’s mother became ill. Nick helped his mother with cooking and the children; he looked at this as a fond memory. Money was short and Nick started working in 1963 to help provide for his family. He loved to farm and worked as a farm hand his whole life. On March 30th, 1974 he married Joyce Swartz and they went on to have four children. Left to cherish Nick’s memory is his family: wife, Joyce; Grandson, Kyle; Daughters: Sandra and Denise; Sons: Christopher and Richard; nine grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Nick will also be missed by his siblings and their spouses and numerous family members. Nick was predeceased by his parents: Eva and Daniel Sayers.
