Obituary of Eileen Marie Howell

HOWELL, Eileen Marie - 70, Creignish, passed away Sunday, March 14, 2004, in St. Martha's Regional Hospital, Antigonish. Born in Rose Blanche, NL, she was a daughter of the late James and Elsie (Hatcher) Hardy. She was a former employee of Sears in Port Hawkesbury and Woody's Crane Rentals Ltd. She was a member of Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Port Hawkesbury. She enjoyed her special times with her grandchildren and family, and has left them with many happy memories. She enjoyed her camping trips and was given the strength in the summer of 2003 to travel to Newfoundland. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Woodrow Sr.; son, Lennie and granddaughter Victoria, Craigmore; son, Woody Jr. (Marcella) and grandsons Jamie, Bobby and Christopher, all of Troy; step-granddaughter, Kelley, Yarmouth; daughter, Nancy (Todd) Gilmore and grandchildren Jessica and Michael, Lawrencetown; sister, Beulah (Neil) MacDonald, Florence; brother, James (Debbie) Hardy, George's River. It is Eileen's wish that there be no visitation. Funeral service 11 a.m. Tuesday in Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Rev. Michael Conrad officiating. Burial at a later date in the church cemetery. Family flowers only please. Memorial donations may be made to Holy Trinity Anglican Church or Canadian Cancer Society.
