Obituary of Marjorie Jean Hawley

HAWLEY (Petroff), Marjorie Jean - 76, Port Hood, died Friday, February 6, 2004, in Inverness Consolidated Memorial Hospital. Born in Trenton, Pictou Co., she was a daughter of the late Yimes 'Jim' and Gertrude (Clybourne) Petroff. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Peter's Parish, Port Hood. Surviving are sister, Gladys Petroff Kesler, Ontario; sisters-in-law, Isabell Hawley and Diane (Lloyd) Spears, both of Port Hood; brother, John, Ontario; half-brother, James Petroff, Trenton; brothers-in-law, Jackie (Olive) Hawley, Alex Angus (Eileen) Hawley, both of Port Hood; nieces, Janie Boyles Sommerville, Saint John, N.B.; Barbara Boyles Jenne, Oregon, U.S.A.; Colleen Boyles, Newport; nephew, Donald W. Boyles, Brampton, Ont.; 13 Hawley and Spears nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed by her faithful dog, Jake. She was predeceased by her husband, John Douglas; sisters, Marion Boyles and Anne Petroff. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Sunday in Port Hood Community Funeral Home. Funeral mass will be held 10 a.m. Monday in St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, Father Charles Cameron officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery.
