Obituary of Beulah Creamer

CREAMER, Beulah - 89, Canso Seaside Manor, formerly of Phillips Harbour, passed away January 11, 2004. Born in Half Island Cove, she was a daughter of the late Stephen and Beatrice Greencorn. Beulah was a member of the Half Island Cove Baptist Church and thoroughly enjoyed singing and listening to hymns. She was a homemaker most of her life, and her home was always open for a cup of tea and a good game of cards, but never on Sunday. She is survived by her brother, Howard (Jean) Greencorn, Half Island Cove; daughter, Mabel Hunt Hendsbee, Phillips Harbour; sons, Gordon, New Minas; Edward (Beth), Medford, Mass., U.S.A.; Clarence (Bernadette), Phillips Harbour; Harold (Cynthia), Port Felix; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Harvey; daughter, Linda in infancy; sisters, Evelyn Creamer, Dailia Greencorn, Marguerite Hendsbee; Hazel MacKenzie; brothers, Hugh and Murray; grandson, Jimmy Creamer; son-in-law, John Hunt. Visitation will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today and Tuesday in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Canso. Funeral service 2 p.m. Wednesday in Half Island Cove Baptist Church, Rev. David Wheeler officiating.
