Obituary of Stanley Joseph Bond

BOND, Stanley Joseph - 73, Canso, died Monday, August 2, 2004, in Eastern Memorial Hospital, Canso. Born in Canso, he was a son of Edna (Feltmate) Bond, Canso, and the late John Bond. He was a retired fisherman and a member of Canso Pentecostal Church. Surviving are daughter, Susan, at home; sisters, Dorothy Avery, Stella (Joe) Rideout, both of Canso; Marion Dort, Hazel Hill; Catherine (Laurie) Phillips, Halifax; Myrna (Everett) Bouchie, Little Dover; brothers, Roland, John and Arnold, all of Canso; Ralph, Halifax. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Mary Elizabeth Carter; brother, Lloyd; infant sister, Mary. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. today and 2-9 p.m. Thursday in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Canso. Funeral service will be held on Friday at 2 p.m. in Canso United Baptist Church, Rev.
