Jim was a great guy who loved the challenge of a snooker game he and I felt the need many times back in the day to shoot many a game for the bragging rights of the winner . I remember those years and enjoyed that friendly rivalry. Rest in peace Jimmy

Sincere condolences to Joanne and family. When we were growing up and lived on Granville Street we used to call him little Jimmie because there were three Jim's in the family and he was the youngest. As time went by he grew into a big man and not only in stature "Little Jimmie" was an avid outdoorsman and was happy to share his catch (smelts come to mind in one occasion in the 1970's before I moved to Alberta). James Robert Paul Davis was a good man, God bless his soul. Richard Davis and family

Joanne and family, so sorry to hear of Little Jimmy's passing - little being his childhood nick name to tell the Jim's apart. He grew to be Big Jimmy, with a kind heart to match his height. I'll always remember Uncle Jim recruiting us (and Jimmy) to toss 3 foot or 3 and a half foot peeled softwood while Uncle Jim sat atop ole Queenie, out on the Rhodena Rd. We played together as children and cousins. He always had the ‘how you doin - glad to see ya' smile. May your fond loving memories sustain you in your time of grief. Sandy and Donna Davis
