Obituary of W. R. “Reggie” Gregory

Elizabeth City, NC W. R. ‘Reggie’ Gregory, age 93, of 486 Firetower Rd., Elizabeth City, NC died Sunday, September 22, 2002 at Albemarle Hospital. He was a native of Pasquotank County, NC; son of the late William James and Anna Turner Gregory and was the widower of Evelyn Bright Gregory. He retired from the N. C. Forestry Service and was a member of Newland United Methodist Church. Mr. Gregory is survived by a son, William Wilson Gregory of Virginia Beach, VA; two grandchildren, William Arnold Gregory of Elizabeth City, NC and Joy G. Kupetz of Kill Devil Hills, NC; and four great grandchildren. A graveside service will be conducted on Wednesday, September 25, 2002 at 11:00 AM at the Stokley Family Cemetery in Newland with Rev.
