Obituary of Paula McCord

Currituck, NC Paula H. McCord, ‘Memaw’, 50, of Currituck, NC, died Tuesday, September 24, 2002 at Albemarle Hospital. Born in Wake County, NC, she was the daughter of Hazel R. Harmon and the late Claxton P. Harmon. Paula was a loving wife, mother, and friend. She touched many lives with her kindness. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her husband, Dennis ‘Eddie’ McCord; a daughter, Beth Williams and her husband Rusty; a son, Kevin McCord and his wife Alexis; and two grandchildren, Justin McCord and Grant Williams all of Currituck. A funeral service will be conducted on Friday, September 27, 2002 at 2:00 pm at Twiford’s Memorial Chapel with Minister Dennis Crehan officiating. Burial will follow in Moyock Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 7:00 to 8:30 pm and at other times at the residence.
