Obituary of Etta P. Mann

Mrs. Etta Pierce Mann, 90, formerly of Northside Road, Elizabeth City, NC died Monday, October 14, 2002 at Carolina Living in Elizabeth City. She was a native of South Mills, NC; daughter of the late Charlie Henry and Narcissia Laurietta Stewart Pierce and was the widow of Rex Mann. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Elizabeth City, NC and retired in 1973 from Hopkins Brothers as a bookkeeper. Mrs. Mann is survived by a step daughter, Jean M. Wallace, four step grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be conducted on Wednesday, October 16, 2002 at 2:00 pm in New Hollywood Cemetery with the Rev. Glenn Greenway officiating. The family will receive friends at the residence of Audrey Harris, 1690 Morgan’s Corner Road, Elizabeth City, NC. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church Building Fund, P. O. Box 401, Elizabeth City, NC 27907. Twiford’s Memorial Chapel, 405 E.
