Blondell Taylor Pulley, age 74, of 714 Briarwood Avenue, Elizabeth City, NC, died Monday, October 14, 2002, at the Albemarle Hospital. Mrs. Pulley was a native of Fork, SC, the daughter of the late Wiliam Paul Taylor and Amy Huggins Taylor, the wife of Charles Adolph Pulley, Jr. of the residence. She was a member of Corinth Baptist Church.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, Charles ‘Chuck’ Pulley, III, of Point Harbor, NC, and William David Pulley of Elizabeth City, NC; a brother, Mitchell Taylor of Lumberton, NC; two grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
A graveside funeral service will be Friday, October 18, 2002 at 11:00 AM at West Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Dr. Roy Head officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 7:00 to 8:30 PM and at other times at the residence. Memorial donations may be made to Corinth Baptist Church, 1035 US 17 South, Elizabeth City, NC 27909.
