Obituary of Milton Lester Spruill, Jr.

Shiloh, NC Milton Lester Spruill, Jr., age 70, of 116 Beechtree Drive, Shiloh, NC, died Thursday, November 14, 2002 in Lexington Medical Center, West Columbia, SC. He was born in Pasquotank County, NC, son of the late Milton Lester Spruill, Sr., and the late Elizabeth Cartwright Spruill and was the husband of Lillian Josselyn Spruill of the residence. Mr. Spruill was a retired civil service worker for the United States Coast Guard (ARSC). He also served in the United States Air Force, and was a member and Past Master of the Masonic Hall Lodge #53 AF & AM. He was a Methodist. Besides his wife Mr. Spruill is survived by three daughters; Ruth Ann Burgess of Shiloh, NC, Lillian Mae Warden of Camden, NC, and Mary Catherine Reynolds of Lexington, SC; one son, Russell E. Rupert, Jr. of Shiloh, NC; and three grandchildren. A funeral service will held on Saturday, November 16, 2002 in Twiford’s Memorial Chapel at 3:00 PM. Burial will follow in New Hollywood Cemetery with Masonic Rites. The family will receives friends and relatives at the funeral home Friday evening from 7:00pm to 8:30pm.
