Obituary of Gladys J. Nelson

Gladys Jacobsen Nelson, 79, of Long Island, NY and formerly of Elizabeth City died Friday, November 22, 2002, in Long Island. She was a native of Brooklyn, NY and was the daughter of the late Nils and Helene Rienersten Jacobsen and widow of the late Russell Nelson. She was a retired county employee in New York. Surviving Mrs. Nelson are a daughter Elaine Brea of Roslyn Heights, NY, a son, Russell Nelson of Potsdam, NY; a sister, Ruth Hurley of Baldwin, NY and four grandchildren. Graveside services will be conducted Monday afternoon, November 25, 2002, at 3:00pm in the West Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery by Father Stan Easty.
