Obituary of Sallie D. Tebo

Mrs. Sallie Stone Tebo Powells Point, NC Mrs. Sallie Stone Tebo, age 82, of 146 Gabbard Lane, Powells Point, NC, died Monday, December 2, 2002, at Albemarle Hospital. Mrs. Tebo was born in Lumberton, NC, the daughter of the late Lyman H. and Bessie Allen Stone and was the widow of Garland Tebo. She worked for the U.S. Civil Service and was a member of Powells Point Baptist Church. Mrs. Stone is survived by one daughter, Sallie Kay Dennis of Blair, OK and one brother, James Stone of Powells Point, NC, four grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Douglas Mayers. A funeral service will be conducted Thursday, December 5, 2002 at 11:00 AM in Powells Point Baptist Church with the Rev. Eugene McLawhorn and Rev. Herbert Hemingway officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will be at the residence of James and Ruth Stone, 140 Gabbard Lane, Powells Point, NC.
