Obituary of Johnny Lockwood Morgan

Johnny Lockwood Morgan, age 85, of 106 South McMorrine Street, Elizabeth City, NC, died Monday, December 9, 2002 at his residence. He was a born in Camden, NC, son of the late James Taylor Morgan, Jr. and Mattie Williams Morgan Smith. Mr. Morgan worked as a cook for Hardee’s Restaurant and was a member of Sawyer’s Creek Baptist Church. He served in the U.S. Army. He is survived by two sisters, Doris Whitehurst, and Nina Perry of Hertford, NC, and one brother, Elmer Lee Smith of Elizabeth City, NC. Graveside service will be Wednesday, December 11, 2002 at 11:00 AM in the Morgan Family Cemetery. Twiford’s Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
