Obituary of William Wilson Hanna

WILLIAM WILSON HANNA Retired Lt. Col., USAF Lt. Col. William Wilson Hanna, USAF retired, 77, of 1506 Emerald Lake Circle, Elizabeth City, NC died January 1, 2003, in the Albemarle Hospital. He was born in Westfield, NJ to the late Hampton and Ethel Jarvis Hanna. Mr. Hanna was a veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict, having served our country in the US Air Force and later in USAF reserves. Changing careers Mr. Hanna became associated with and later retired from the Hampton Hanna & Son Insurance Agency. Mr. Hanna worked with Rockwell International and C. Lloyd Johnson while residing in Virginia Beach, VA. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Akers Hanna of Elizabeth City, two sisters, Ethel Wilson Hanna Booth of Summerville, SC and Charlotte Ellen Hanna Selvig of Tewksbury, NJ. Mr. Hanna was preceded in death by a son, Mark Wilson Hanna. The body has been cremated and no services are planned at this time.
