Obituary of Nellie Adalaide Brickhouse

Camden, NC Nellie Adalaide Brickhouse, age 95, of Camden, NC, died Friday, January 17, 2003, at Winslow Memorial Home. She was born in Tyrrell County, NC, the daughter of the late William Charlie and Narcissus Brickhouse Hollis and was the widow of Henry Louis Brickhouse. She was a member of the Camden Church of Christ. Mrs. Brickhouse is survived by two daughters, Virginia D. Sanders and husband Malcolm of Camden, NC, and Margie Marie Holtz and husband Lewis of Frontnac, KS; a son, Edmond Earl Brickhouse and wife Muriel of Camden, NC; thirteen grandchildren; twenty two great grandchildren; and ten great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Shelton V. Brickhouse; two sisters, Bessie Hollis and Nancy Hollis; and three brothers, Alfred Hollis, Dallas Hollis and Charlie Hollis. A funeral service will be conducted Monday, January 20, 2003, at 2:00 PM in Twiford’s Memorial Chapel, 405 East Church Street, Elizabeth City, NC, with Minister Mike McNamara officiating.
