Obituary of Sue Scott

Sue Bray Scott, 100, of 1700 West Ehringhaus Street, Elizabeth City, NC, died Saturday, January 25, 2003 at Albemarle Hospital. She was born in Pasquotank County, NC to the late James A. and Mary Jane Williams Bray and was the widow of Charlie Scott. She was a former inspector with the Elizabeth City Hosiery Mill and was a member of Berea Baptist Church. Mrs. Scott is survived by two sons, Johnnie Warren Scott of Elizabeth City, NC and William Earl Scott of Williamston, NC; two grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren. A funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, January 28, 2003 at 2:00 PM at Twiford’s Memorial Chapel by the Rev. Glenn Greenway and the Rev. Roger Stanley. Burial will be at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends at the funeral home immediately following the service and at other times at the residence of her grandson, Linwood Earl Scott, 585 Esclip Road, Elizabeth City, NC.
