Obituary of Steven Lee Matlock

Elizabeth City, NC Steven Lee Matlock, 49, of 112 Chadburn Avenue, Elizabeth City, NC, died Monday, January 27, 2003 at Albemarle Hospital. He was born in Phoenix City, AL to the late Thomas and Geraldine Henderson Matlock. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army having served in the Vietnam War and was a retired investigator with the Military Police. He was a life member of the D. A. V. and was a member of Faith Baptist Church. Mr. Matlock is survived by his wife, Amanda Adkins Matlock of the home and two children. A funeral service with military honors will be conducted on Thursday, January 30, 2003 at 11:00 AM at Faith Baptist Church by Pastor Al Thompson. Burial will follow at New Hollywood Cemetery.
