Obituary of Sawyer Helen Hill

Helen Hill Sawyer, age 83 of Winslow Memorial Nursing Home, died Thursday, January 23, 2003 in Albemarle Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Grover E. and Mattie Davenport Hill, and the widow of Cliff Sawyer, Jr. Mrs. Sawyer had worked with Real Estate Rentals and was a member of Christ Episcopal Church. She is survived by two nephews James and William (Bill) Furtwangler both of California, a cousin Laura Lee Riddick of Elizabeth City NC. Mrs. Sawyer was preceded in death by a sister Mary Elizabeth Hill Furtwangler. No services are planned at this time. Anyone wishing to may make Memorial contributions to the S. P. C.
