Obituary of Frank L Langley

Frank L. Langley, age 86 of 1207 Peartree Road, Elizabeth City, NC, died Saturday, February 1, 2003, at the Albemarle Hospital. Mr. Langley, a native of Tyrrell County, was the husband of Onella Wilson Langley of the residence and the son of the late Frank Levi Langley, Sr., and Anna Liza Sawyer Langley. He was retired from Sanders Company, a Baptist, a US Army Veteran of WW II, and a member of the VFW. Besides his wife he is survived by two daughters, Frances Langley and Kitty Barnes, and her husband Terry, all of Elizabeth City, NC; a son, Frank Gary Langley of Central, SC; a granddaughter, Jade Langley; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside funeral service will be Tuesday, February 4, 2003, at 11:00 AM in Old Hollywood Cemetery with the Rev. F. Joe Griffith officiating. Full military honors will be presented by the William Clarence Jackson Post 6060. The family will receive friends Monday from 7:00 to 8:30 PM at the funeral home and at other times at the residence.
