Obituary of Anniebell Harris Mitchell

Shiloh, NC Anniebell Harris Mitchell, age 81, of 1450 South 343, Shiloh, NC, died Wednesday, February 5, 2003 at her residence. She was born in Camden, NC, daughter of the late Sanford and Janie Burgess Harris. She was the widow of the late Edgar Swindell Mitchell, Sr. and a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, Old Trap, NC. Mrs. Mitchell is survived by two sons; Bryan Harris Mitchell of Jacksonville, FL, and Edgar Lee Mitchell of Kitty Hawk, NC; two brothers, Pete Burgess Harris of Norfolk, VA, and Thomas Richard Harris of Old Trap, NC; four grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be Saturday, February 8, 2003 at 11:00 AM in Twiford’s Memorial Chapel with the Rev. David Moehring officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, also following the service in the lobby of the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to Albemarle Hospice, PO Box 189, Elizabeth City, NC 27907-0189. The family request that no food be taken to the home.
