Obituary of Edna May Gee White

Elizabeth City, NC Edna May Gee White, 69, of 2305 West Main Street, Elizabeth City, NC died Wednesday, February 12, 2003 at her residence. She was born in Liverpool, England to the late Lucy Davies Gee and was the wife of Albert Edgar White of the home. She was a homemaker and attended Fountain of Life Pentecostal Holiness Church. Besides her husband, Mrs. White is survived by two daughters, Anita Cox and husband Pete of Charlotte, NC and Yvonne Marturano and husband Vinnie of Elizabeth City, NC; two sons, Eddie White and wife Lyree of Elizabeth City, NC and Steve White and friend Jean Gray of Elizabeth City, NC; one brother, Norman James Gee of New Zealand; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. A funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, February 15, 2003 at 2:00 PM at Twiford’s Memorial Chapel by the Rev. Bill Mayo. Burial will be at New Hollywood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home immediately following the service and at other times at the residence. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Fountain of Life Pentecostal Holiness Church Building Fund, 1107 U. S. Highway South, Elizabeth City, NC 27909.
