Obituary of Joseph Barone

Elizabeth City, NC Joseph Gene Barone, 79, of 407 Lane Drive, Elizabeth City, NC died Saturday, February 22, 2003 at Sentara Norfolk General. He was born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Antonio and Jemma Cori Barone and was the widower of Alice Lucille Smith Barone. He was a retired maintenance engineer, a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, and a veteran of the United States Navy having served during World War II. Mr. Barone is survived by a daughter, Janice Dandar and husband Regis of Elizabeth City, NC and two grandchildren, Alicia Dandar of Charlotte, NC and Justin Dandar of Elizabeth City, NC.
