Obituary of Audrey Peterson Lindsey

Audrey Peterson Lindsey Audrey Peterson Lindsey, age 83 of 125 Blackbeard Drive, Elizabeth City, NC, died Saturday, March 1, 2003 at Moses Cone Extended Care, Greensboro, NC. She was born in Newbern, NC, daughter of the late William Haywood and Cora Lee FormyDuval Peterson and the widow of Wilbur Frank Lindsey, Sr. She was a member of Evangelical Methodist Church, a graduate of Newbern City High School, a graduate of Norfolk Business College, she was active in Elizabeth City Aglow, and participated in the Albemarle Crisis Pregnancy Center. Her prayers and her faithful witness have brought her family to saving faith in Jesus Christ. Mrs. Lindsey is survived by a daughter, Sheila Lindsey Crittenden of Elizaeth City, NC; two sons, Wilbur Frank Lindsey, Jr. and William Michael Lindsey both of Greensboro, NC; thirteen grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 5, 2003 at 11:00 am in Evangelical Methodist Church with the Rev. Max Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in West Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
