Obituary of William Walter Wegman

William Walter Wegman Queens, NY Native William Walter Wegman, age 87, of 103 Waters Drive, Moyock, NC, died Friday, March 7, 2003, at his residence. Mr. Wegman, a native of Queens, NY, was the widow of Madeline Catherine Wegman, and the son of the late Jacob Wegman and Lena Bloodgood Wegman. He was a retired plant manager for Columbian Rope and a member of St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church. Mr. Wegman is survived by a daughter, Margaret McKeon and son-in-law William J. Briglia, Jr., of the residence; four grandchildren, Michael Bischof, George Bischoff, Margaret-Mary Bischoff, and William Bischoff; and eleven great grandchildren. A Mass of Resurrection will be Monday March 10, 2003 at St. Katharine Drexel at 11:00 AM with the Rev. James Buchholz officiating. A prayer service will be Saturday evening from 7:00 to 8:30 PM and a Rosary will be Sunday evening from 7:00 to 8:30 PM at Twiford’s Northside Chapel. A graveside service will be Thursday at 10:00 AM at Holy Rood Cemetery, Westbury, NY. The family will receive friends at the residence.
