Obituary of Kathryn Morris Kerlin

KATHRYN MORRIS KERLIN Native of Pasquotank County, NC Kathryn Morris Kerlin, 91, 3201 Wisconsin Ave., Washington, D.C., died Saturday evening, March 15, 2003, in the Suburban Hospital, Bethesda, Maryland. She was born in Pasquotank County, NC to the late Jesse John Morris and Kathryn Sawyer Morris and was the widow of the late Daniel W. Kerlin. Mrs. Kerlin was a former member of the Salem Baptist Church, a member of the AARP and currently was an Episcopalian. She is survived by a daughter, Kathryn M. Cochran of Silver Springs, Maryland, a brother, Dr. Jesse John Morris of Elizabeth City and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Louise Denton and a brother, William Hythe Morris. Graveside services will be conducted Tuesday, March 18, 2003, at 3:00pm in the Hollywood Cemetery by Rev. Rickie Steenstra. Twiford’s Memorial Chapel, 405 E.
