Obituary of H. Dick Drylie

Southern Shores, NC H. Dick Drylie of Southern Shores, NC passed away on Thursday, March 20, 2003. Mr. Drylie who was born in Pittsburgh, PA on February 16, 1939 was a retired Naval Aviator. He is survived by his wife Jeanne of the home; his son H. Dick Drylie, III of Virginia Beach, VA; his mother Helen Wolcott of Gainesville, FL; and his grandchildren Brent and Megan Daugherty of Elyria, OH, and Zachary Drylie of Virginia Beach, VA. He is preceded in death by his father, H.D. Drylie, Sr. and his brother Dr. David M. Drylie and his daughter, Laura Drylie Daugherty. A memorial service is scheduled at All Saints Episcopal Church, 40 Pintail Trail, Southern Shores, NC on Tuesday, March 25, 2003 at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to ‘The Building Fund’ of All Saints Epsicopal Church, 40 Pintail Trail, Southern Shores, NC 27954, or to the Dare Home Health and Hospice, PO Box 1000, Manteo, NC 27954.
