Obituary of Mary Bogue Perry

MARY BOGUE PERRY Native of Elizabeth City, NC Mary Bogue Perry, 90, formerly of Third Street, Elizabeth City and presently a resident of Greenville, NC, died Thursday, March 27, 2003, in the Pitt Memorial Hospital, Greenville, NC. She was born in Elizabeth City, NC to the late John P. Bogue Sr. and Narcissus Smith Bogue and was the widow of the late Curtis Edward Perry. Mrs. Perry was a member of the Blackwell Memorial Baptist Church. She is survived by three daughters, Doris P. Cox of Greenville, NC, Joyce P. Herring of Houston, TX., and Mary Ann P. Wussow of Kingwood, TX; two sons, Curtis Perry, Jr. of Carrolton, TX. and James R. Perry of Watauga, TX; one sister, Affie Spivey of Belvidere, NC; one brother, Oscar H. Bogue of Roanoke Rapids, NC; 13 grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 3 step great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, March 30, 2003, at 3:00pm in the Blackwell Memorial Baptist Church by Rev. Dr. Bob Crisp. Burial will be in the West Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends and relatives in the Assembly Hall of the Church immediately following the funeral service and at other times at her residence, 916 Third Street, Elizabeth City, NC.
