Obituary of Harold Pritchard, Sr.

R. Harold Pritchard, Sr. Elizabeth City, NC Raymond Harold Pritchard, Sr., age 79, of 882 Wellfield Road, Elizabeth City, NC, died Saturday, April 5, 2003 at Winslow Memorial Home in Elizabeth City, NC. Born in Pasquotank County, he was the son of the late Raymond D. and Bessie Lee Pritchard Pritchard, and was the loving husband of fifty seven years of Arlene Baines Pritchard of the residence. He was a veteran of the US Army having served during WWII. He was a retired farmer and carpenter, and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter – Day Saints. Besides his wife, Mr. Pritchard is survived by: one daughter, Elaine Pritchard; three sons Harold Pritchard, Jr., Michael Pritchard, and David Pritchard all of Elizabeth City NC; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter – Day Saints in Elizabeth City, by Bishop Robert Garrett on Tuesday, April 8, 2003, at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow at Westlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the Cultural Hall of the Church immediately following the service and all other times at the residence.
