Obituary of Gerald Palm

Kill Devil Hills, NC Gerald Arthur Palm, 60, of 264 Outrigger Drive, Kill Devil Hills, NC, died Wednesday, April 16, 2003 in Albemarle Hospital. He was born in Yonkers, NY to Margaret E. Torhan Palm of Deposit, NY and the late Arthur Palm and was the husband of Pamela Beeler Palm of the residence. Mr. Palm was a retired electrical engineer, a member of the U.S.C.G Auxilliary #1607 Flotilla, and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served during the Vietnam War. Besides his wife and mother, Mr. Palm is survived by two daughters, Barbara Caputo of Milford, CT, and Sharon Dudley of Waverly, VA; one son, Scott Russell of Stanford, CT; one sister Lorraine Viviano of Deposit, NY; three brothers, Arthur Palm and Howard Palm both of Mahopack, NY and Robert Palm of Yonkers, NY; and six grandchildren. A Memorial Mass will be conducted on Thursday, April 24, 2003 at 10:00 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church with Father James Buchholz officiating. The family will receive friends at Twiford’s Memorial Chapel on Wednesday from 7:00 to 8:30 PM and immediately following the service at the church.
