Obituary of Herbert Lloyd Bundy

Hertford, NC Herbert Lloyd Bundy, age 80, of 190 Colson Lane, Hertford, NC, died Tuesday, April 22, 2003, in the Albemarle Hospital. He was born in Pasquotank County, NC, son of the late Charlie and Ludie Haskett Bundy. He was the husband of Ann Poyner Bundy of Ruther Glen, VA. Mr. Bundy worked as a Meat Cutter and was a Baptist. He is survived by one daughter, Elizabeth Ann ‘Becky’ Maiatico of Ruther Glen, VA; one son, Walter P. ‘Buddy’ Bundy of Blacksburg, VA; three sisters, Ludie Colson and Essie Wilson both of Hertford, NC, and Mary Bundy of Elizabeth City, NC; one brother, Johnny Bundy of Tacoma, WA; two grandchildren, Steven and Michael Maiatico. She was predeceased by one sister, Alice Wilson, and four brothers, Jesse, Dave, Henry, and Earl Bundy. Funeral service will be Friday, April 25, 2003, at 2:00 PM in Twiford’s Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in New Hollywood Cemetery with Military Honors. The family will receive friends in the lobby of the funeral home following the service. At other times the family will be at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Colson, 419 Hog Neck Road, Hertford, NC. Twiford’s Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
