Obituary of Glenn McDonald

Glenn Albert McDonald, Sr., 79, of 1502 Pot O’ Gold Trail, Elizabeth City, NC, died Saturday, May 3, 2003. He was born in Pasquotank County, NC to the late Samuel and Bertie Jones McDonald and was the widower of Josephine Curles McDonald. He was a retired production controller with the Norfolk Naval Shipyard, a lifetime member of the V. F. W. Post 6060, a veteran of the U. S. Army having served during World War II, and owned an industrial mowing company for the last 26 years.
Mr. McDonald is survived by his fiance, Patricia Kunze of Elizabeth City, NC; two daughters, Linda Turner and husband Johnny of Chesapeake, VA and Connie Lunsford and husband David of Elizabeth City, NC; two sons, Sam McDonald and wife Betsy of Greenville, NC and Jay McDonald and wife Elaine of Camden, NC; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted on Tuesday, May 6, 2003 at 3:00 PM at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery by the Rev. A. G. Parker with full military honors provided by V. F. W. Post 6060.
