Obituary of Ruth Anderson

Moyock, NC Ruth Sawyer Anderson, 94, of 314 Mason Lane, Moyock, NC, died Saturday, May 17, 2003 at Albemarle Hospital. She was born in Pasquotank County, NC to the late Will and Annie Williams Sawyer and was the widow of Edward M. Anderson, Jr. She was a retired Registered Nurse having served private duty nursing as well as hospital nursing, was a graduate of Sarah Leigh School of Nursing, Norfolk, VA class of 1931, and was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church. Mrs. Anderson is survived by one daughter, Patricia Mason and husband William of Moyock, NC; one son, Edward M. Anderson, III and wife Kathlene of Newark, OH; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. A graveside service will be conducted on Tuesday, May 20, 2003 at 11:00 AM at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery by the Rev. David Moehring and the Rev. Mike McNamara. The family will be at the residence.
