Obituary of Robert Greg Jeffries

Elizabeth City, NC R. Greg Jeffries, age 46, of 1818 River Road, died Wednesday, May 21, 2003 at his residence. He was born in Atlanta, GA, son of Robert George and Frances Russell Jeffries of Elizabeth City, NC. He worked as a construction worker, and was a member of Blackwell Baptist Church. Mr. Jeffries is survived by two brothers, Mark Alan Jeffries and his wife Arlene, Tracy Randall Jeffries and his wife Laurie both of Elizabeth City, NC; two nieces, Ashton and Victoria Jeffries; two nephews, Jared and Christopher Jeffries, all of Elizabeth City, NC. A graveside service will be Friday, May 23, 2003 at 11:00 AM at New Hollywood Cemetery with the Rev. Dr. Bob Crisp officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM at Twiford’s Memorial Chapel, and at other times at the residence. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Albemarle Hospice, PO Box 189, Elizabeth City, NC. Twiford’s Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
