Obituary of William “Biggan” Murrow

Shawboro, NC William Henry ‘Biggan’ Murrow, 50, of 112 Station Lane, Shawboro, NC, died Thursday, June 12, 2003 at Albemarle Hospital. He was born in Gainesville, FL to the late William and Martha Shimp Stanley and was a well known self employed plumber in the Albemarle area. Mr. Murrow is survived by his live-in companion for over four years, Carol A. Hogan Plichta; four sisters, Mary Ellen Burnham of Orlando, FL, Luella Rose Snow of Jacksonville, FL, Floydeane Marie Goodwin of Tampa, FL and Barbara Rose Riley of Orlando, FL; and one brother, Wayne Thomas Rushworth of Rome, GA. The family will receive friends and relatives at Twiford’s Memorial Chapel, Church St. on Monday, June 16, 2003 from 7:00 to 8:30 PM. At other times the family will be at the residence.
