Obituary of Thomas Donald Foster

THOMAS DONALD FOSTER Pasquotank County native Thomas Donald Foster, 69, of 203 North Street, Elizabeth City, NC died at his residence Tuesday, June 17, 2003. He was born in Pasquotank County, NC to Mrs. Irene Jones Foster of Elizabeth City and the late Arthur Foster. He was the widower of the late Ruth Albertson Foster. Mr. Foster was retired from the Ford Plant, Norfolk, member of the Newland United Methodist Church and was a veteran of the US Army. Besides his mother, he is survived by a stepdaughter, Rosa Ann White Lord of Virginia Beach, VA., a stepson, Joseph John White, Jr. of Hertford, NC; two brothers, Garland Foster of Pinetops, NC and Winfred Foster of Elizabeth City, NC, six step grandchildren, one of whom is Thomas Patrick Johnson of Va. Beach, VA, and three step great grandchildren. A graveside service will be conducted Monday, June 23, 2003, at 11:00am in the Koen Cemetery by Rev. Toni Wood. Twiford Funeral Home, 405 E. Church St., Elizabeth City, NC is in charge of funeral arrangements. The family will be at the residence of his mother, Irene Foster, 114 Tadmore Road, Elizabeth City, NC.
