Obituary of Timmy Nelson, Jr.

Timmy LeRoy Nelson, Jr. Moyock Resident Timmy LeRoy Nelson, Jr., age 36, of 101 Magnolia Drive, Wedgewood Lakes, Moyock, NC, died Sunday, June 22, 2003, at his residence. Mr. Nelson, a native of Norfolk, VA, was the husband of Lorenda Armstrong Nelson of the residence and the son of Timmy LeRoy Nelson, Sr., and Addie Louise Hanna Nelson of Maple, NC. He was a member of Rehoboth Baptist Church. Besides his wife and parents he is survived by a daughter, Candie Marie Nelson of the residence; a son, Matthew Lee Nelson of the residence; a sister, Paula Louise Nelson Brinkley of Grover, NC; and a brother, Richard Lionel Nelson of Norton, VA. Funeral services will be Thursday, June 26, 2003, at 11:00 AM at Rehoboth Baptist Church with the Rev. Dale Pace officiating. Burial will follow in Laurel Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 7:00 to 8:30 PM and at other times at the residence of his parents, 329 Maple Road, Maple, NC. Twiford’s Memorial Chapel, 405 East Church Street, Elizabeth City, NC, is in charge of arrangements.
