Obituary of Sally Nunemaker

NAGS HEAD, NC JUANITA ‘SALLY’ MCMILLAN NUNEMAKER died Thursday, July 17, 2003 at her residence in Nags Head, NC after a hard fought battle with cancer. Mrs. Nunemaker was born in Hoke County, NC and was a homemaker. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Nora Faircloth McMillan and was also preceded in death by her husband, Carl P. Nunemaker, Jr. Mrs. Nunemaker is survived by her son, C.P. ‘Buster’ Nunemaker, III and Chris, both of Nags Head; brothers and sisters, Florence Macgogan, Eula Lunsford, Bonnie Davis, Rae and Neil A. Jackson, Rick and Faye McMillan, Grover and Nora’Diddle’ McMillan, all or Raeford and Hoke County; grandchildren, Kevin H. Nunemaker and Brandi, Karen C. Nunemaker and Patrick; great-granddaughter, Hunter Renee; and numerous nieces and nephews. A Service of Remembrance will be held at the Outer Banks Worship Center, Nags Head, on Tuesday, July 22, 2003 at 11:00 am with Rev. David Daniels and Rev. Jim Lewis officiating. The family will receive friends at the residence at 2229 Wrightsville Ave, Nags Head, on Monday evening from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Carl P.
