Obituary of Myldred Edwards Doxey

Bradenton, FL Myldred Edwards Doxey, age 85, of 5525 21st Ave. W, Bradenton, FL, formerly of Elizabeth City, NC, died Wednesday, July 23, 2003, in Bradenton, FL. She was born in Tyrrell County, NC daughter of the late William Holliday and Lucille DeFord Edwards, and was the wife of the late Melvin William Doxey. Mrs. Doxey formerly attended Evangelical Methodist Church in Elizabeth City where she was the pianist for many years, and was a member of The Nazarene Church in Palatka, FL. She is survived by one daughter, Faye Tripp of Shalimar, FL; one son, Marvin Wade Doxey of Milford, DE; seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. A graveside service will be Saturday, July 26, 2003, at 11:00 AM in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Twiford’s Memorial Chapel Friday evening 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM.
