Obituary of Harry Niser

SKYCO, NC HARRY EDWARD NISER, 63, of Wanchese, NC died Thursday, July 24, 2003 in Norfolk General Hospital. He was born in Laurel, MD and was a retired masonry and construction worker and was a protestant. Mr. Niser was an accomplished Blue Grass Musician and was especially gifted in playing the banjo. He was the son of the late Joseph A. and Selma Pugh Niser. Mr Niser is survived by three sons, Rev. Harry N. Niser of Bath, NC, Eric A. Niser of East Lake, NC and Joey Niser of Seagrove, NC; and one grandchild. A celebration of Harry’s life will be held at Twiford’s Colony Chapel, Manteo on Wednesday, July 30, 2003 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Harry N. Niser officiating. Burial will follow in the Cudworth Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 7:00 to 8:30 pm.
