Kenneth F. Stabell, 80, of 706 Morgan Street, Elizabeth City died Monday, July 28, 2003, in the Guardian Care Nursing Home. He was born in Norwalk, Ct. to the late Arthur Frederick and Sarah Matilda Carlson Stabell. Mr. Stabell was a retired plumber, a US Army veteran having served in the Pacific Theater during World War II and was a survivor of the Japanese’s attack on Pearl Harbor. He was a member of the Pipe Fitters’ Union.
He is survived by his wife, Georgia Tuttle Stabell; three daughters, Sarah Beth Stabell Velez of Waterbury, Ct., Ruth-Ellen Georgette Stabell Wilson of Elizabeth City, and Laura Louise Stabell of Ridgefield, Ct.; two step-sons, Terry Leigh Britton of Winston-Salem, NC and Thomas Paul Britton of Naughtuck, Ct. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren.
