Obituary of Edward J. Wolfe

AVON, NC EDWARD JOHN WOLFE, 71, of Avon, NC died Thursday, August 7, 2003 at his residence. Mr. Wolfe, born in Bronx, NY, was retired from AT&T as a government contractor. He was a veteran, having serviced in the U.S. Air Force and was a Catholic. He was preceded in death by his wife, Josephine Guarino Wolfe. Mr. Wolfe is survived by two daughters, Julia and Laura; two sons, Joseph and Edward, Jr.; and three grandchildren, Shannon, Hannah and Megan. A graveside service will be held in the Hatteras Community Cemetery on Sunday, August 10, 2003 at 3:00 pm with Rev. David Waterfield officiating. The family will receive friends at the Cape Hatteras Baptist Church, Frisco, on Saturday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Twiford’s Island Chapel, Hatteras is assisting the family with arrangements.
