Obituary of Myrtle Dough

DOUGH COLINGTON, NC MYRTLE MEEKINS DOUGH, 77, of Colington, died, Saturday, August 9, 2003, in Elizabeth City, N.C. Mrs. Dough was born in Colington was retired co-owner of Stop and Shop Grocery in Kill Devil Hills and was a member of Colington United Methodist Church. She was the daughter of the late William Lewis and Ida Haywood Meekins and the wife of the late McDonald Dough. Surviving are two sons; Mike Dough and wife Jane and Mark Dough and wife Cindy both of Kitty Hawk, daughter in law; Linda Dough of Kill Devil Hills, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Mrs. Dough was pre-deceased by her son Rodney Dough. A celebration of life will be held, Monday, August 11, 2003, at 2:00 p.m in Hill Top Cemetery in Colington by the Rev. Robert Pitsch. Memorial donations may be made to the Thomas A. Baum Senior Center, Kill Devil Hills c/o P.O. Box 1000, Manteo, N.C. 27954. Twiford’s Colony Chapel Manteo is assisting the Dough family with arrangements.
