Obituary of Fred Markham

Elizabeth City, NC Fred Markham III, age 77, of 110 Miller Lane, Elizabeth City, NC, and 4955 Pepper Circle B-103, Naples, FL, died Monday, August 11, 2003, at Albemarle Hospital. He was born in Pasquotank County, NC; son of the late Fred P. Markham, Jr. and Goldie Lister Markham and was the husband of Patricia Whitehurst Markham. He was a retired realtor. Besides his wife, Mr. Markham is survived by one daughter, Deborah Borgman and husband, John, of Naples, FL; one son, John G. Byrd of Avon Park, FL; and one grandchild, Derrick Borgman of Naples, FL. The body will be cremated and no services are planned at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to one’s favorite charity.
